This is my 6th time using Japan Shop Buddy and Yumi went above and beyond to help me get the items I wanted to buy!
The items I wanted were limited time items that had to be reserved at specific stores and required pick up at a later date.
Even though I contacted Yumi on a short notice and the items were very popular, Yumi managed to secure a reservation of the items for me.
I always love how Yumi makes shopping stress-free. She let me know as soon as she successfully reserved the items for me and let me know when the items were scheduled to arrived.
Yumi always makes sure she gets the exact items I want and I always appreciate that she is very attentive and thorough so I can always rest at ease knowing that she got exactly what I wanted to buy.
Yumi is always professional, courteous, communicative and attentive.
Before the items arrived, she emailed me to let me know and also let me know of the shipping risks of the items, while offering options for me if I didn’t want to risk my items being confiscated by customs (I live in the USA and customs have been getting very strict. I really appreciate that she gave me a heads up about the new regulations in my country regarding the products I purchased), including offering to mail the items to my hotel in Japan if I were visiting Japan.
As I wasn’t visiting Japan, I opted to ship to my home and the items arrived securely and packed really well.
When the shipping estimated ended up more than the actual shipping cost, Yumi let me know and let me know she would refund me the difference.
Yumi is always honest and straightforward and communicative every step of the way and it truly is always a joyful experience shopping with Yumi’s shopping service. I am truly very grateful that Japan Shop Buddy exists!
I highly recommend Japan Shop Buddy and I will definitely be back!
Thank you so much, Yumi!

This was not the first time I have used Yumi’s proxy services and it definitely won’t be the last! As always she was very quick to help me with my request and thanks to her, I received my goods very well packaged as always. Whenever people ask which proxy servicy they should try out, I always recommend Yumi because I can always trust her to help me with my requests. Thank you again, Yumi!
Like many others I found Yumi’s website by chance looking for something of a proxy shopper. My request was a bit niche and unusual but Yumi went above and beyond to make sure getting the item was a success. Her attention to detail, communication, and professionalism really made me feel like I was in safe hands. The process was smooth and very fast. I HIGHLY recommend Yumi and I look forward to using her service again!
Yumi san, such a great service. we booked our tickets with you and it arrived on time ti the hotel with great accuracy of our names and details. Thank you so much for this , we will defunitely use your services in the future.
I have relied on Yumi’s services twice now for helping me pay a fanclub purchase order that needed to be completed at a konbini. I had been looking for a reliable person to do this and I’m lucky I found her website. Both times she was very prompt and professional in answering and handling my request. It’s a pleasure dealing with her. I was surprised at how smooth it all went. I will be glad to continue making use of her services.
This latest purchase with Yumi also went excellently. Yumi is very professional. Buying with her is a guarantee. Even if there are surpluses in the calculations, it refunds the difference. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to buy items from Japan. Thanks again Yumi and see you on your next purchase
I highly recommend Japan Shop Buddy! Yumi went out of her way to drive from Tokyo to Kazo to buy and pick up an expensive second-hand Yamaha trombone for me.
Yumi’s follow-through was fantastic, and she accommodated all of my requests. Most importantly, she took incredible care with the packaging—meticulously bubble-wrapping the instrument inside its case and marking the box as fragile.
If you need a reliable and dedicated proxy in Japan, look no further than Yumi.
Domo arigato gozaimashita!
Yumi provided an amazing service and helped me get some limited shirts from a popup shop that was only open for 1 week. Her prices were incredibley fair for in person shopping and responded to my emails quickly and was able to go to the shop in just a few days. And got there very early to make sure the items weren’t out of stock
She even took some pictures of the shop and sent them to me so I could experience it via her. Delivery was super fast too!
This was my first time using a proxy shopper for a physical shop and I was so impressed how easy it was. I reccomend Yumi to anyone who needs help getting items from Japan!
